Anyone selling coins to Britain?

Hi, thinking (still) of selling my coins internationally.

On the Auspost website @ https://auspost.com.au/sending/send-overseas/international-post-guide/results/united-kingdom it lists bullion, coins and currency under the heading "Please note the following restrictions for International Standard articles being carried by the EMS network:"

Does this mean that coins etc to Britian must be sent via Express Mail or better?

Re: Anyone selling coins to Britain?

I have sold coins to EU and USA.

Both countries have been large letter providing it's within the weight limits.

Mounted on cardboard.

They are sent as collectables, not current legal tender.

Thanks Kopenhagen5

I will need to send most of what I sell in parcels.

I have noticed when creating a new sale in ebay, that only Auspost is available as a carrier.

I using another carrier. do you (anyone) just leave the postal field blank and ask sellers to make contact for the postal charge?

I just send items as per every other country, letter for under $20 and registered above.

No you need to enter a postage option.

If you don't want to commit to a price you can select freight.

Then buyers will need to get a price from you to their location before buying.
