Re: Auction on eBay not happy with price at the moment?

some bidders will bid in the last minutes or even the last seconds for auctions.

The way to guarantee that you get a price you would be happy with is to have the start bid at an amount you would be happy with if there was only one bid.

Re: Auction on eBay not happy with price at the moment?

Just cancel the bids and then revise the listing by putting in the minimum price you are willing to accept

as the starting bid,(it's upo to you whether you notify the bidders as they wont be happy but may bid again).

Don't ever start items at 99 cents starting price as that only makes eBay happy,(not the seller as the item will

sell at a lower price than what the seller is happy with on most occasions).

The other option is to cancel the bids before the 12 hours to go mark and then end the listing.

That way you can re-think on how you want to list it next time.

Re: Auction on eBay not happy with price at the moment?

Just look at your listing and you have:

I send with AustPost

I provide track & signature

with fees you are looking at about $13 just for that assuming they weigh under 500g total you should not be offering free postage.

The problem with a lot of items in this range EBay is not a great platform to sell them as the postage costs really ups the price for each item. If it was me I would put it as a BIN item and hope someone comes a long looking for this.I just check recent auctions and the ones that sell usually sell with just 1/2 bids including 10 ngk spark plugs for $0.99+$15 postage.

To me this is what I see as a specialist item it is not something everyone wants but when someone needs it they will pay a fair price. This week no one may want this type of spark plug so the only people bidding will be people looking to grab a bargain, possibly to resell.Next week however someone may need spark plugs and if they do they would be happy to pay a fair price for them. Unless you really need to move them be patient

I have to ask, why would anyone buy:

Denon Manual for Denon DN-2600F DJ Dual CD Player

When they can download it for nothing?

You'd be surprised! I've seen people successfully sell things like knitting patterns and sheet music that people can download for free.
