Buyer did not pick up item from post office: who pays?

Hi all

I have posted a copy of tracking info below.

The item was never collected from post office. I have not yet received the return to sender item.

What would you do in this situation?

Buyer did not pick up item from post office: who pays?

Once you receive the item back, log into PayPal and do a part refund of the item less the postage costs.

Unless the buyer wants it resent and pays postage again.

Give it a bit longer as it took 8 calendar days to arrive at their post office. If it's not back by the end of next week I'd open an investigation. Once it does turn up, do as already suggested and refund the item price only, minus any fees you've incurred, plus RTS cost if AP charge you to return it (sometimes they do).

I had the same thing happen recently.It did take 3 weeks for the return trip of the parcel from the receivers Post Office (NSW to Victoria).The return trip is not always as fast as the initial sending.I offered my buyer a part refund (cost of goods only) or the offer for buyer to pay additional postage and have item resent.My buyer has acknowledged the offers ,but 3 weeks later they are still to make a decision !
