Can my authorised user's message buyers?

I have just added an authorised user to my ebay store and I am wondering if they should be able to message buyers under my store name? My authorised user has no option to "Contact Buyer" or to "Mark as Sent" on any order I get. Is this normal or are authorised users not meant to contact my buyers?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It can take time for changes to take effect. How long ago did you add the new user?
