Claim to refund

Hi all.

Quick question:

I had a dispute close.

In my payments tab i have a Cliam for order and its shows a minus value.

I have been told that when the refund goes through ebay will remove a negative strike against my account.

Does the refund come after the Claim, so they are not the same thing?

Just trying to understand something clearer.

If eBay forced the refund because you didn't do it manually, then you keep the defect they have issued, because the case was closed without seller resolution. That happens when the buyer asks eBay to step in and help. If the buyer didn't escalate the case, and you did manually refund, then get onto eBay to get the defect removed.
