Does anyone know what the realistic delivery time is for a parcel from the UK to South American countries? We've had a number of items just disappear and have had to refund them without ever knowing if the item eventually arrives.

At least if we had some idea we could inform the customer if they should wait a bit longer

i have heard of people refusing to send to south america for that reason. there's a lot of corruption, theft and other reasons (items going into customs and never coming out) which have just ruined it for sellers. a lot of large companies now outside of ebay don't even ship to some south american countries for the same reasons.
