I have free delivery for my first-ever sale on eBay.

My question is: Does Australia Post provide the satchel, or do we need to pack the item ourselves?

Additionally, I have a soft copy post label, but Australia Post won't scan it but print the label for $1, before scan it. What reason?

you need to pack it yourself.

And print the label yourself. you are lucky they are prepared to print one for $1,

Not sure if there is time limit to use but I saved mine for a larger parcel that cost $30 to send.

Be aware that weight limits apply to own packaging, whereas satchels are volume-based, up to 5kg. As you've already purchased a label, a satchel is probably not an option option. You CAN buy a 10 pack of post-paid satchels for about $3 from AP. It depends on what label you purchased.
