Funds on hold

Hi eBay community,

Im new to selling so apologies if any of these questions are dumb. 
In the past few weeks I’ve sold 8 items, and it states that my funds are on hold until delivery is confirmed. I’m buying postage through eBay, so my account currently has negative funds available. 
My question is, will my funds only be paid out once all my postage fees have been paid (so it make take a few items to be delivered to actually start seeing some money come in)?

As a new seller your funds will generally be on hold for 30 days.

If you have tracked proof of delivery (and positive feedback, but that is increasingly rare) you can contact Live Chat and see if they will release the funds for those items.
