Good till cancelled realists even though I only had 1 item it still resisted it

I listed shoes buy it now good till cancelled, I only had one pair and they sold and paid and the listing is still active in my eBay? This is not the first time its happened. 

Why when I have 1 item and mark as one item is it automatically resisted when it has been sold and paid for?

Make sure the "out of stock" option isn't enabled in your site preferences. If the box is ticked eBay will keep relisting every GTC item you've already sold.
