It is a scam.
The request for Paypal details is the giveaway. If they buy through eBay they don't need your Paypal details.
On top of that, why did you quote international postage to an Australian address? Buyers can select any address they want something posted to in checkout. Having said that, the fact that they haven't arced up about you quoting International postage when they are allegedly in Australia is the second trigger.
You are a new seller, selling high end items. You are a natural target for scammers. Well done for coming here.
