How to donate something?

I would like to donate some dated but very useful and totally functional (for practice) goalkeeping equipment to a junior hockey player. Locally have had no luck. Is the only way to offer something free to list it at zero and accept little to nothing for it? Got it on those two other sites already too.

Have you tried any of the buy and sell pages on Facebook?

Re: How to donate something?

Have you tried putting a card up in local stores and shopping centres with community boards?

I assume one of the sites you have it on is Gumtree?  If not, I've found that great for offering free items.

Also, your local paper possibly offers "free classifieds" for items less than a certain amount (or free) - eg I'm in the ACT and The Canberra Times has "Free Classies" for items under $200 (including freebies).

Yes and the Trading Post. Will look into other free classifieds. Thank you. Stay warm!

That's a possible option if classifieds fail. And calling local clubs. Thank you.
