Yes you need a liquor licence,if you list them they will remove them straight away I learnt this when I listed some.

Bugger, I wish there was a place to sell things like that as I also have two Wooden display boxes of melbourne cup port from 1979-1991 does anyone know when can sell things like this, as my dad is old and sick, so just getting rid of lots of stuff.

You could try one of those specialist privately owned bottle shops.

They may buy them from you.

Or keep them to give as gifts.

I bought some unwanted bottles of wine a few months back. It was just listed as alcohol in the title line & was in the Home & Garden category for local pickup only. (That category has a lot of home brewing supplies & such)

Didn't attract a lot of bidders due to the obscurity. Not saying you should do this, but my seller flew under the radar & got rid of his unwanteds for a reasonable price. lovely young man who got them as work gifts, but didn't like wine.

I'd personally approach a wine auction house, esp with the ports. There are many in Melb so I assume same in most capital cities.
