I placed the correct postage on my sold item of $8 and now have a seller fee of $1.20 for postage?

I recently sold an item and placed the postage as $8 for the item. Now, on top of the general 10% fee, I have also received a fee for postage which forces me to pay more on both postage and that fee. What do I do?

Wear it.

This has been in place for over a month and was very well advertised.

You can't add costs post-sale or the buyer will have legitimate reason to complain. You could try using 'own' packaging, which is cheaper than a satchel, to recoup some of the cost. If you use eBay labels, you get a 10% discount on that as well. For the next 8 weeks.

There is FVF on postage now,you can't do anything about it.

If you look in Seller Account, under the heading of Fees, you can see the selling fee & the FVF on postage listed seperately for each item sold
