As ebay must by necessity give all sellers 'windows' of opportunity
it crossed my mind that several seller accounts on the same IP Address
may have to share the one window.

I did that once when I started with ebay ( 16 years ago) and boy did the stick come down hard.
My view at the time was to regard it as a 'vendor's bid' used at real estate auctions.
ebay did not agree ๐

Maybe my post seems to be about how to get away with shill bidding but it's not.
Who would shill bid in these times anyway. Your bid would most likely be the only one...lol
I am simply wondering if 3 selling accounts would have to share the visibility allocation of 1 account.

I think only eBay could answer that, and I doubt they'd be willing to.
I doubt they would use IP address to gauge how long the sales window is open for each account, more likely you'd look at the details of the owner of the account, or the address recorded against each one.
It would be an interesting thing to investigate to try and determine how they do it, but would take quite a while to gather conclusive data.
EDIT: On further brief reflection, if you were paying for three seperate stores for example, I'd assume you'd be getting three different windows, too.

Great if ebay would tell us.
