Is it no longer possible to sell a single item.

I have an item worth $800 to sell but it won't let me list it as I have a $10 limit???

I have listed items before but not for a while. Never had this problem before.

This is a once off sale.

I don't understand

Oh well. Now look to Gumtree or facebook market place, neither of which I am familiar.

It is over a year since you sold anything so ebay considers you a new seller.

You will need to keep within your limits until you have a few more sales to your name.

Gumtree and Marketplace are both very user friendly, so I doubt you will have any problem, good luck

Not quite - eBay are doing this to accounts that go dormant (with regards to selling).

If you hop on to chat, they should remove the $10 / 1 item limit.

Just got off the Chat with an agent who has increased my limit to accomodate my sale.

Very helpful.

Could take 24hours to come into effect so will try tomorrow to see if I can post.
