The Mark on the base is Bijutsu Toki. Meaning 'Art Ceramics'

I did a Google search by image, taking a photo of your vase.  It came up as Japanese Asahi peacock vase.  I'd guess those markings on the bottom mean "Made in Japan" or similar since it has "Japanese" on it, and seems to appear on a few different products.  Hope that helps.

You can translate from the Google app on your phone. Open the app, and on the very right of the search box is a coloured square with a blue dot in the middle. Click on that. Then on the next screen, click on "translate". Hold your phone over the text you want to translate and it should do it. It says to take a photo to translate, but I've never had to do that.

You do have to hold it there for a bit, because it can get a bit confused and could keep changing its mind until it decides on the correct translation. It's far from being perfect, but it can give you a rough idea of what you're reading.

You can also use the Google Translate app, but it's pretty much the same thing. I translated it as "pottery art", which is basically the same as what Gec told you.
