New Item specifics requirements for Home & Garden and Electronics from 31/3/20

From an email I received today:

Including item specifics in your listings is crucial to your success on and off eBay. Item specifics helps us surface your listings to the right buyers, at the right time. In fact, by adding them, sellers have seen up to an 81% increase in conversion*.

Since last year we’ve been expanding item specifics requirements in certain categories. From 31 March 2020, we’ll start requiring additional item specifics in certain Home & Garden and Electronics categories.

From 31 March 2020, you won’t be able to create new listings in affected categories, relist, or make revisions to existing listings if they are missing the required information.

Have not sold here for many years and when I did it was not on this a/c.  I feel for sellers tryinfg to do the right thing.  Ebay keep moving the goal posts.
