Have been refused appeal on claim after item was delivered?

Losing faith in seller protecton.

Claims department said " if we will grant your appeal, that only means that we need to pay you using our own money"

There is no seller protection if you just send standard post and put your faith in AP and the buyer.

Ok then if it was tracked and delivered then you need to go through PayPal

Why not just lodge a claim through Aus Post? Tracking provides compensation up to $100 plus the cost of postage, or if you took out insurance with AP, they'll compensate up to that value.

Oh wait. It's been marked delivered? Then Aus Post can provide a statement saying the item was delivered to the buyer, and then you just lodge that with Paypal. Paypal mainly just need to see proof of postage, which you have.
