eBay CS type replies from their prompt screen
As any member here who has dealt with them will be able to tell you
They do not have any experience with using eBay as a buyer or a seller, they just type what the pre-written scripts tell them to
You are correct, nobody from eBay is going to contact you, because the cs has not alerted any 'higher ups' to do so
