I'm having a tough time getting answers from both paypal and ebay as to where my money is. I have a purchase for over $300 and paid with my debit card (transaction processed via paypal, I dont have an actual paypal account). The ebay seller then said sorry they already sold the item elsewhere (which was annoying) but they clicked the refund button and the money should have gone back onto my debit card however in the period of time since paying and getting a refund I closed that bank account. Ebay told me the money should have gone back into the sellers paypal account however they are saying they havnt seen anything. Can anybody help with this one?
