Second chance offers

Does the second chance offers cancel the transaction of the original item even if I already sent it?

Becasue i have another of the same item and the other bidders seem to want it, so a second chance offer is possible for some of them.

I just want to let the other bidders know i have another one.

Second chance offers

With a Second Chance Offer, a non-winning bidder gets the chance to buy the item at a price equal to their last bid. You can make Second Chance Offers up to 60 days after an auction ends.

It's free to make an offer, but if the buyer accepts, you pay a final value fee.

You can use Second Chance Offers when:

  • Your winning bidder didn't pay, and you already tried to resolve the issue with them
  • Your reserve price wasn't met
  • You have more of the same item available for sale

so no, it doesn't cancel the first buy.

Second chance offers

The initial transaction remains unless a cancellation is done.

The SCO is in affect opening a private listing for a buyer to buy.

If they accept, you have 2 sales.
