Weighing Parcels

I thought I'd ask this question on the Seller forum even though I am not a seller.

I was wondering what sellers use to weigh parcels so that they are (hopefully) as accurate as if they were weighed at an Aust Post PO.  I am also hoping it is not something really expensive. 🙂

My digital scales are from Kmart, under $20.00 and weigh up to 5kg with pretty much spot-on accuracy.

i have some cheap ones i bought from officeworks - only go up to 5kg as nothing i send is really over that. haven't faulted me yet.

when i first got them, i simply measured the accuracy a couple of times by noting the weight of a particular parcel and then taking it to my local PO and seeing what it weighed on their scales and it was only a gram out, so now i know the differential.

Like others, mine were less than 20 bucks from K-Mart and weight exactly the same as the scales at the post office, down to the last gram.

Ours are a set of 5kg scales from a kitchen place.

They are consistemtly within a gram or two of the PO scales.

I think they were around $30 mark.
