What sells well these days?

I can tell you right now, it's not CDs or comics, the things I used to specialise in!:_|

Old CDs make good drink coasters ๐Ÿ˜„

Re: What sells well these days?

l buy up CD's and DVD's whenever l can.

On my market stall, l sell books, CD's, Videos and DVD's. Top seller each market is always DVD's ($5 each) followed by CD's ($5 each).

l call them my reverse selling - normally l buy select items from markets or op shops to boost my stock on eBay but lately l've been buying off eBay to sell at market.

Re: What sells well these days?

Nope, Actor Nick Cage sold his copy of Action Comics #1 (first Superman comic) for $2.161 million. But yes, it was near mint and it had the added pedigree of belonging to a celebrity.

It had previously been stolen from Cage and was later found in an abandoned storage locker....

Would have made a GREAT episode of Storage Wars!

It's only three years since any comic cracked the $1 million barrier, and they've been climbing ever since.... the ones we'll never find, of course.

Cds used to be great sellers but are harder to sell now. I tend to go for stuff that people might collect and think along that line

They used to sell just fine 10+ years ago, but they are now seen as worthless.

There's a music shop in Canberra that buys old vinyl records (even bad ones!) but they won't touch CDs.

I wouldn't feel too bad Joz, car magazines from the 60's and 70's are getting good prices too, if the condition is right.
