How can i remove the postage of an item as it is being picked up locally? Or do i have to adjust the price to reflect the postage

No need to.

Simply accept cash on pick up and after it's paid, mark as paid, mark as sent and leave feedback if you wish.

Best to always use cash on pick up as there is no seller/buyer protection on pick up items. Smiley Wink

If the listing has ended and the buyer has requested an invoice, or you would like an accurate record to print out for yourself, you can adjust the invoice to show local pickup, even if pick up was not an option that you included in your listing post options.

If you go to your sold items and for that sale select send invoice when the invoice appears you can change the post service showing via the pull down menu on the right, you can select local pickup from the range of post services displayed.  Then you will need to edit the price of the local pickup selection to 0.00 (if it does not automatically change to Free).

If you have other post services also showing on the invoice, these can be deleted by pressing remove.

Do not press recalculate, this reverts the invoice back to its original details.

Press preview payment information before sending, to double check all is ok, and then when it goes to the next screen to show you the invoice that will be sent, if all is as it should be press send payment information, and an invoice will be sent to the buyer, and the accurate payment total (without post included) will be saved in eBay for that sale.
