buyer leaves positve feedback, then wants a refund

I have a buyer who has paid by paypal

Items were sent and he has left me positive feedback, saying he is very happy

Now he is asking for a refund, saying he has changed his mind and is not happy

Will paypal refund him , if I refuse to give him a refund

if it is just a change of mind, and not requesting a refund because of faults in the product they didnt notice at first then i would just respond with a

Sorry, all my eBay sales are final, and I do not refund for change of mind.

I have never had anything like this happen before, so I am a bit confused:)

Surely if they leave good feedback there is no way they can then open a dispute to get thier money back?

I have looked at my purchase history and can see no way of claiming back for goods once I have left feedback, or is Paypal something completely different, as far as claiming a refund goes?

Regardless of the timing of eBay feedback a buyer has left for a purchase, they can still open a dispute pertaining to that purchase in Paypal within 45 days from the date they paid.

If your buyer has explicitly stated in an eBay message that they have simply changed their mind (i.e. there's nothing wrong with the items), and they do open a case, you may be able to use that message to defend the claim. Feedback received can sometimes support other evidence, but it rarely - if ever - can prevent or defend a PayPal case on its own.
