can I sell an item without an auction?how do I get the price I want?

I'm very new to selling via auction and as I am time poor with work I'm asking here...

I am selling an item which I believe is worth $300 minimum I'm not familiar with auctions so the highest bidder is at $110!

As the seller, what rights do I have here on ebay to NOT sell the item for such a cheap price please?

Always list an item in auction with the starting price you are happy to sell at in case you only get one bid.

Perhaps you should have listed it as Buy it Now for $300 rather than an auction.

Boy o Boy you should have read the selling policies as you are breeching many of them.

Why didn't you start at $300? But you still might get that amount as the auction has more than 5 days to go.

You're better off closing down the auction and starting all over again.

Is this the same one as the other one in your completed listings?

Is so, what happened with that one?

(Did the seller not pay, and if so, did you open an unpaid item dispute before re-listing?)

OP, it would be good if you could read up on the rules of selling

Otherwise you could end up in strife, or being scammed

And there is very little support/help from eBay for sellers

Thank goodness she has relisted it as a BIN. Although I'm still curious as to why it was relisted after the first auction. If the buyer didn't pay, there are still fees that need to be paid. If she just chose not to send it, then there is negative feedback on the way.

I'm also curious OP, are you in Mayfield or Goulburn? They are quite a few hundred Ks apart. Your first 2 listings say Mayfield, your current one being Goulburn. How much do you charge for delivery to the Blue Mountains or Oberon? There's quite a distance involved with both areas. Not to mention Oberon is still cut off from the rest of the world at the moment due to snow.
