eBay removing listings - FACT

Been monitoring their throttling activity in the last month.

Not only do they limit sellers but are now hiding random listings from store categories (not a glitch).

Items will appear in your Active Selling list (selling manager) & promotions but not in Search, Category view & International ebay sites.

It mostly occurs when big brands on ebay have an advertised promotion/sale on.

Store owners with similiar brands are targeted.

Come in spinner. This has been known for months, if not a year or two. Just sayin lol

Today I compared SMPro Active Listings with View Sellers Other items . View other uses Best Match to display. We showed 162 listings in Best Match but 172 in Active Listings. That means 10 are missing from being displayed by Best Match. I can't tell which 10 tho. This store is still using the old format. On our other store using the new format both counts were equal.
Something is amiss here.

Your listing will be posted on the eBay site and can be viewed in My eBay. Your listing may not be immediately searchable by keyword or category for several hours (or up to 24 hours in some circumstances), so eBay cannot guarantee exact listing durations in search results. Where your listing appears in search results may be based on certain factors including listing format, end time, keywords, price and postage cost, feedback, and detailed seller ratings. The above is what comes up just before you list your item so this is the reason you should now never list a 1 day auction because it won't be shown in search results and also the factors to why your listing isn't visible as well.

Wow! That's incredible. We only have 71 active listings on this ID.

All are BIN GTC items.

But it's not this ID with the problem as SMPro Active = Best Match on this ID.

And this ID is the store with the new format.

It's our other store ID where we have the problem where SMPro Active = 172 but Best match shows only 162.

Again all the listings are BIN and GTC.

So 10x listings are not being displayed by Best Match.

This is the store with the older format.

Both IDs are basic store IDs.

Maybe we should all take it in turns and see what the results are?? Can someone else do a 'brief' on Clarry's items?
