ebay messages.... I can't send them to buyers this morn!

I know sometimes you can't send a message to a buyer when they are going through checkout/making payment.  but I have tried at various intervals this morning and get this message cannot be sent at this time..

anyone know why and how to fix please?  anyone else having the same issue?

It's the same old ' Technical Issue' mantra I got from the customer service 'Hot Line' this morning.I can't send messages at all , via any drop down menu or contact button on my site home page anywhere.

E bay suggested I contact members through my e mail system, too bad if I don;'t have their email address !!

E bay really have to lift their game.I pay fees for a service which is not there.
