feedback from buyers

I've been selling for 5 years and the feedback from buyers is nice when you continually get 5 stars positive feedback however when you make an error and get negative feedback you find you have not many options if you feel eBay's computer responses does not appear to fully understand the situation that exists. Once that happens and you look at the feedback  5 star system, and for instance the "postage time" five star assessment that a buyer can mark you down on something that basically you have no influence over as long as you get it to the post office in the time that eBay stipulates. Obviously some buyers must think that a seller has the power to take some form of action if the tracking shows the item has been delayed in transit and mark your 5 stars down for that reason. Surely a bit of re-assessment is required by eBay into their feedback areas where the seller has no control?

Re: feedback from buyers

I can't remember the last time I looked at a sellers DSR's.

I do look at a seller's negs & their response.

Why would you refund a buyer without return?

Offering a return may have led to a feedback revision.
