how do I record that the item has been hand delivered?

I just sold an item which I had advertsied as free postage. 

I noticed the address is nearby and messaged the purchaser to ask did she want me to deliver it to her, with cash discount becasue I was saving on postage.  She said yes becasue she'll get it before the weekend etc.

But how do I record that on Ebay so as to indicate that I have complied with my posting standards?

Mark it as sent and that's all you need to do.

Then leave feedback if you wish.

But not until you actually get paid - don't mark it sent now of course.   Have you delivered it and got paid?

I have been paid via Paypal. I will deliver tomorrow. But I've JUST checked it as SENT.

I guess if you weren't going to use trackable postage then yes just mark as sent

after the buyer has in hand.

You won't be covered for INR of course.
