how to sell low priced items $2-$5 without large insertion fees?

Hi I sell items for $2-$5 on average. Is there a way to list said items without incurring high insertion fees? I get 40 free listings, but as the auction runs out after 8 weeks I then have to redo the listing again from scratch. And as I have about 1000 listings up(once they are all put up) it will be difficult to keep track of especially as I can only list 40 free listings a month. I like the good til cancelled but the charges are way to high.

I think twyn is talking about selling combined lots.

So if you have 5 items selling for $2 each perhaps make a listing for those 5 items together selling for $10.

Especially if they have a similar theme to them i.e. Australian, sporting, year etc.

Or 20 items together for $50 in a single listing.
