possible phone app scam

got a funny message today on my eBay phone app , saying that eBay is no longer using papal for payment, the message directs you to give them your bank details so eBay can pay directly into your account, I SUSPECT ITS A SCAM, anyone else experienced this

Is the notice a notice to register for Managed Payments?

Read further on eBay's FAQ about managed payments. No I'm not going to post the link, as it would have been given in the notification.

It is not likely a scam, but something ALL sellers would know about.
