trying to contact a seller on the uk ebay site

hi, i'm trying to contact a seller with an item on the UK ebay site but nothing i do will let me. i get blocked at every turn. i have never delt with this seller, it seems to be an ebay block. all i want to know is would he be willing to post the item to australia. not a big deal.

It might be be a big deal for the seller if they do not wish to post to Australia.

i get s screen wanting me to sign in, but i cant get it to accept my location as australia. it hasa drop down list of countries. i select australia, it puts australia in the box. then it reverts to the UK in the box. i never get a 'message' just when i click on 'contact seller' i get the 'provide your contact details' box but it will not allow me to put an australian address into it.

That is most likely part of the block parameters as per my screenshot above. If the seller has it set up so that they will not receive any contact from a country they don't post to, then you'll never be able to get ahold of them.

David, I've just tried it and after I cleared the password and put in my password again it went through - perhaps eBay UK was storing an old password of mine maybe ?

Edit. I did go through the postage and payments page.

I just tried to ' contact ' - seems I can - even though it states they do not post internationally.
