this is a tactic of so called ebay operators failing to read the information 

it states immediate payment with Buy It Now

on pickup 

pickup buyers often dont pay

You know you don't have to implement manual payment options for pick-up items, right?

Like, you don't have to check the "pay on pick-up" option in the payments section - if you want immediate payment on pick-up items, just accept PayPal only and tick "require immediate payment". 

Edit: I can see you've actually done this on some listings by the looks of it - in that case I'm a little confused as to what the check box is required for.
