This is a scam, really common on Gumtree too.

It usually continues with them asking you to pay some kind of fee so that they can get the vehicle shipped to wherever.... 

Just ignore it.

partly it'd be because you are offering to accept Paypal for the sale, and they think they'll be able to scam you thru that.

motors / caravana / boats do not need to offer Paypal *and it'd be quite expensive to do so)

cash on pick up is the best way to sell something like the caravan.
