Old book but...

Hi everyone! 

I've found an old book that "may" be worth a little bit of money... but it's missing a few pages at the front.... 

it's got the publishing page, but missing the title page and a few others. 

It starts on page 7..... 

In saying that, page 7 starts with 

book one

and the story begins..... 

so i'm wondering if anyone sells books with pages missing? 

it's not like there are pages missing from the story itself... 

i know that this would reduce the asking price... and i'd take photos of it and decribe it with missing pages at the front

but i'd like to get your thoughts on it?

I don't sell them if there are missing pages, but if I was to I would just state exactly what you have put here.  

Especially if you think it is valuable and/or rare.

These can sell but for significantly less than a copy with the pages.I sold a copy of a book exactly like this defect your book has but I mentioned these faults and every other fault.Someone out there will be bound to buy this just takes time

I have managed to sell books that have been piles of paper with remnants of string attached as binding.  I cannot remember what I called it ....something like "an exercise in binding".  Someone bought it.  I was surprised.
