Don't know if this may be news for those posting on this string, but there's another serious problem that may be affecting your sales. We have listed items over the past month and had virtually no activity at all...because NO ONE can even find/see our listings. When people search by the exact title letter-by-letter of our items, nothing comes up at all -we've had friends from all over North America try and only one or two out of dozens somehow see the listings, while nobody else can even find them. I've contacted other sellers selling virtually identical items to ours and they report that they are averaging 16 or 17 views per day per item....I've had 20 in a week.
Depending upon who you speak with at CS, they'll either tell you that they can see the item ( doesnt really help unless they bid on it!) or that this is a known problem affecting "a million or so" Canadian, US and UK ebayers and it's being worked on...but that's been the same story for almost a month now.
If it's really all about $$$ then they just don't seem to get it. At an average selling price of as little as $25.00 per item, their fees amount to +/- 10% of the total. If there are 500,000 items that don't sell because nobody can even see them or find them, that's $1.25M US per week......and if they don't realize that revenue guess who's going to be expected to replace it through higher user fees etc ...????
