12 month warranty by sellers on ebay not worth a thing

I brought a pressure washer on ebay back in September only tried it out a couple of times then it just stopped working, contacted the seller and they said send us a video, i said i can not do that on ebay and so send me a email address and i will do so, they said we can not send email address and i have never heard back from them since even after many messages to say how do we sort this out, but never hear back from them, they have my money and clearly do not want to follow up on there 12 month warranty..

You are spot on

Warranties 'on eBay' mean nothing. Just words in the listing

IF the seller was an authorised re-seller of the item and registered in Australia , there would have been no issue

'Average Joe' sellers cannot really offer a warranty

No they are not UNLESS the seller is an Australian authorised seller/reseller of the product.

Sellers are allowed by eBay to advise that a warranty is applicable, but in the vast majority of cases they aren't.
