I have bought something for $1,200 through ebay which to me is a lot of money. It is something which cannot be posted and the seller has said that he will deliver it to me. But they want me to direct deposit the money into their account now before they deliver it 3 weeks later because it's a hassle to get it out of his house so wants the money up front. Usually my rule of thumb is if you pickup you just pay cash when you get the item. I'm a little hesitant because I don't even know their address if it goes pear shaped. I guess I just have to pay by paypal don't I so I get buyer protection?? Any suggestions would be appreciated!! Thanks
