I try increase my bid on an item eBay instantly tells me I've been outbid by myself.

I have bid on an item which recently was outbid. When I tried to bid again the site told me instantly that I was outbid by myself. Instead of making me the highest bidder it instead duplicated myself and said my copy was the highest bidder. The item is at 1 day of finishing and I would like to have this resolved.
