I've bought two gold class tickets and found out they were both invalid

Hi I bought two gold class tickets on ebay and went to book online at event cinemas, I typed in each voucher pin and code and they returned invalid. I then rang up my closest gold class cinema in Brisbane to book and they told me that the tickets have already been used on the 30 th march 2014 at Sunshine Village Cinemas which is in Melbourne. I then notified the seller that they are invalid and they returned with the messege that one only has been used or someone online stole the pin from the photo for one. The listing clearly stated the suction was for two, not one gold class vouchers with the expiry date the 30 th April 2014. I went to check later tonight online through the event cinema website again only to find out all of a sudden one ticket is miraculously valid! The only thing I can think of is that the sellers went and put money back on the one ticket they used to save themselves from getting in trouble and therefore making their story more believable.....
