If I think a handbag is fake and want to return it do I have to pay the postage?

I bought a handbag and was fairly sure it wasn’t a copy but there are a couple of things that make me think it could be.  It is an excellent copy and has wonderful feedback but I think it is a copy.

im just nervous about approaching the seller and will I have to pay return shipping if he agrees to a refund?  Thank you.

"Do you want the number of the listing I have with him? "

Yes, that's why I asked you for it.

If the bag really is a fake the seller is hardly likely to admit it.

As Padi says......if you believe it to be a fake you need to get a letter from an authorised third party stating this.  Open a dispute and post the proof that you have.

If you win the dispute there is a good chance that you will not even have to return the bag.....ebay may just ask you to destroy it and prove that you have done so.

You have to be able to prove it's a copy by getting a letter from a registered reseller of the product or the maker of the product before you can open a dispute for "not as described".

Edit to add. If you do that then the seller will have to pay for the return postage.
