At the moment nothing actually happens and nobody knows for sure why ebay are trialing this. As the time is based on the mostly innacurate, overoptimistic estimates given by Aus Post plus the sellers handling time I would never tick to say no unless I knew the seller had taken longer than their handling time to mail the item. Many sellers are adding a few days to their handling time even though they post straight away just to avoid any censure should ebay suddenly start issuing defects if the no option is selected.
