getting a receipt from seller

Hi,

Just wondering how long ago you can search an item number from somthing you purchased. Almost 12 months ago I purchased a brand new iPhone 5 32Gb and its having issues and I'm trying to get into contact with the seller for a receipt so I can send it back. I've tried searching by seller name and item number and I've tried to email and getting no response. Any suggestions will be much apprecaited. The item was over $700 so its a lot of money for something that is now faulty.  Thank you.

Select purchase history and change the dot from recent to archived at the top.

Then select the year you want.

I would be very wary of returning such an item over the internet as many have returned phones for repairs and see nothing after that.

You could end up with no money and no phone with next to no recourse.

It may pay to get it repaired by a proper shop and pay a little for the peace of mind.

Or at least ask for an approx cost to repair from a proper repairer.

Most sellers on ebay don't repair units and often don't honour warranties.

The few genuine sellers that do offer a good service or warranty, need to send it away themselves.
