eBay has allowed a buyer to return a new item 3 months after purchase. But goods have not arrived.

eBay have given buyers the option to return outside of the MBG time. I suspect YOU are the one who accepted the return.

Unfortunately, you are probably going to lose the item and your money.

You still should read the basics. There is a lot of issues for sellers that will arise and you need to know how to deal with them in keeping with eBay policies

You can't. Once a dispute is closed, that's it. It can never be reopened. Did you ask ebay to step in and help? If so, that will usually close the case in favour of the buyer.
