A sellers advertise "5 Years Warranty" no certificate,

I'm wanting to buy a couple of after market Bosch batteries, they are advertised "5 Year Warranty. I've asked several sellers if they supply a certificate, no response. The reason I'm asking for a paper copy is that I bought 4 Ryobi batteries 3 years ago, I can't prove it as e-bay purchases only go back 2 years. Am I wrong in asking for proof of purchase ? I realise I could take a screen shot, paper is easier to store.

Re: A sellers advertise "5 Years Warranty" no certificate,

Warranties are worth nothing on Ebay unless you are buying from an authorised seller in Australia. If you want a warranty then you should buy from a bricks and mortar store.

Thanks, I'm beginning to realise that.
