Dodgey

Seller do not send your purchase, they give out fake courier tracking numbers and do not reply to emails... Please check there feedback from purchasers who have already been scammed. Negativity all over them. Ebay should have closed there seller site along time ago.. Why ebay why???????????

Why did you buy from them if they have so much neg feedback?

 

And why have you not left them feedback?

 

It is all on public display before buying

 

Stop supporting dodgy sellers

 

No use asking eBay on the member to member forum

 

Which you agreed not to 'name and shame' on when you signed up

 

eBay are not going to shut them down when buyers choose to support them

your post will be moderated to remove user IDs, or your post will be removed entirely by moderators.

 

Board rules prohibit naming and shaming, regardless of the behaviour of the sellers you have named.

Sorry self imposed problems,  looking at your last few purchases,  you enjoy buying from dodgy sellers.

 

Maybe you need to check sellers feedback before you buy.

Why would people  not check feedback?

 

The first and most basic thing all buyers need to do

A couple of reasons.

Number 1, ebay does not use feedback ratings any more to help evaluate sellers. I think they used to take feedback into account some years ago, but not now. That means a seller could have hundreds of negative comments in a row and ebay wouldn't notice. It is not as if they have real people scanning the comments and now they don't even have computer systems in place to flag sellers with a lot of negative feedback.

 

Number 2, ebay is making a commission each time someone buys from one of these sellers. As long as they don't get too many complaints about that seller, that seller will be allowed to stay in business.

 

Feedback is, as I said, not considered. It isn't classed as a complaint. A complaint would be when you open a proper ebay claim against the seller for item not received or item not as described in the ad.

So.. if you have not received your item, you need to go into your account and open an ebay claim within 30 days of the expected arrival date. Don't leave it too long.  

As long as you open an ebay claim, you should be right to get a full refund.

 

If each and every person who had a bad experience with a seller eg not receiving an item, opened an ebay claim, that seller would soon be flagged by the ebay system and would soon find their selling was restricted or even closed down.

 

Feedback is there,a s far as I can tell, just to help the buyer.

I always check it before I buy anything, just to see what other buyers have said. That way, if a lot of other people have reported negative experiences, you can decide whether to buy from that person or not.

A lot of buyers seem to know how to do feedback but not how to open a claim against a seller.

So that's why you need to check feedback, to help protect yourself from dodgy sellers. Ebay won't, so you need to, in your own interests.
