Fake Galaxy S4 battery

I've just been had fot the third time(maybe I'm stupid). Sellers claim authentic battery with NFC, except there is no NFC.

When contacted, they play dumb and refund money. Most people probably don't use NFC so don't realise the problem.

Are there any real batteries out there?

Latest vendor claims to have sold 276 batteries, thats close to $4000 in fraudulant sales. Not bad.

hi you say you have been hit a third time  ok.

i dont know if you got it from china or here or what you paid in total.

now there is an old saying . i asume its new.  then if the price is way different than in a main store , the chances are its a fake.

if its popular there are fakes out there millions of them . on every item .

if its too good to be true then its risky.  and these days the fakes are getting better , so harder to tell.

your right most people would not know.

I got burnt the first time. The second time they assured me the battery was real, and I paid more for it. When I knew it was wrong, I couldnt be bothered arguing, I just wanted a working battery.

Third time, Ive had enough.

Yep, go into a store in your nearest city.

You will get the real thing, warranty and probably a smile.

And it will probably cost about $30. Not a lot to get your phone working again.

Or buy from a registered AUSTRALIAN business online, not a Chinese shonk. That way you have legal recourses through Fair Trading if the item is not what you want.
