Won a great piece from the UK, all sent ok.
Notified by GSP centre that it cleared customs, 7th July 2016 in UK and was on way to carrier to bring to Australia. Message from GSP centre this morning, item returned to seller due to damage which occured "PRIOR" to arrival at GSP centre. How can it be cleared and than all of a sudden it is damaged PRIOR to arriving at the centre? All sounds like a load of rubbish to me. I know several people that have had this occur in Australia. What this sort of thing will do is STOP people buying and selling.  So very annoyed by the obvious lie.

There is something wrong there.....it would have had to reach the GSP hub before it cleared Customs, if indeed it even needed to clear Customs before being shipped overseas.

Are you sure the message was not just a formal notice that there would be no Customs charges on the item when it reached Australia.
