I have purchased an item and you have put a hold on it for 21 days, why?

The 21 day hold on funds, only applys to the seller , new sellers only as an extra security protection.   Note ebay will have advised the seller that you have paid and they are now required to ship the item within their stated handling time.  They do not get to wait for the funds to be released before posting.

If the seller is refusing to send because their funds are on hold (new seller),  raise a dispute with Ebay,  that will get the seller sending.
